Project Goodwill- 1st Place
Project Goodwill is a design competition hosted by Goodwill North Central Texas where each designer has a 100$ budget and must create a runway look made only with items purchased at Goodwill.
I was initially inspired by the silhouettes of Rick Owens- mainly the masculine look of these over-sized jackets. After searching for materials, I was inspired to use electronics scraps to add more surface details to the coat, drawing from my knowledge of more decorative 18th century menswear.
For my creative use of materials and well executed design, I was awarded first place in the competition.
